Healing Vision, Supporting Resilience: A Day in Chittagong

Host communities are the local populations that receive and support migrants from different regions or countries. The cities and towns of southeastern Bangladesh play a crucial role in the support of the Rohingya refugees fleeing violence in Burma. However, they experience their own challenges —social, economic, and cultural—as a result of migration.

Many international NGOs understand this and provide support to the local host communities. Here, the OneSight Foundation stood up a temporary eye clinic for the community of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
